This garden features over 500 species of cacti and succulent plants found in dry deserts of North America and elsewhere. Visitors will be especially delighted to discover the baobab tree (Adasonia digitata L.) memorably depicted in Saint-Exupery’s Little Prince; Korea’s oldest Echinocactus grusonii Hildm. varying in age between 80 and 110 years; and the Rhodocactus that is known as the ancestor to the multiple species of cacti we find today.
